Enviroganic Farm Operations Pty Ltd (Enviroganic Group) , Australia’s longest-established certified organic chicken producer, has been farming organically since June 1999. Located in the scenic hilltops of Murringo, New South Wales, the farm raises certified organic chickens, turkeys, and lamb, while also growing its own organic wheat. Enviroganic Farm is looking for a Truck Driver who will be responsible for transporting organic products safely and efficiently. This role involves operating trucks for the transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with road regulations and safety standards, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and secure deliveries. Location: Murringo, New South Wales Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum plus superannuation Role: Full-time Key responsibilities include but not limited to: ·Drive and operate company trucks to transport organic products, ensuring safety and compliance with road transport regulations. ·Safely load, secure, and deliver organic products (chickens, turkeys, lamb, and organic wheat) to various locations, ensuring all deliveries are completed on time. ·Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition, reporting any faults or maintenance needs to management. ·Keep detailed records of deliveries, including product type, quantities, and delivery times, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. ·Accurately estimate and monitor load weights to ensure compliance with legal mass limits and maintain safe weight distribution across the vehicle. ·Communicate with suppliers and customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery times, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any delivery-related issues promptly. ·Safeguard the quality of the organic products during transportation, ensuring they are stored and transported under optimal conditions to prevent contamination or damage ·Ensure all transport and regulatory documentation, including delivery dockets and compliance forms, are completed accurately and submitted on time. ·Safely load and unload vehicles using the correct lifting and tipping equipment, ensuring all goods are securely restrained and covered in accordance with the National Load Restraint Guidelines and relevant safety standards. ·Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental sustainability practices, and the company’s organic certification standards while operating vehicles. Skills and Qualifications: ·Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) license is essential ·Minimum 1 year of experience driving trucks ·Reliable knowledge of transport routes across local and interstate areas ·Sharp attention to detail in maintaining delivery logs ·Strong time management skills with an ability to work independently ·Consistent demonstration of responsibility with safety standards Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
