Business Analyst - Microsoft Business Central Location: Bowen Hills, Brisbane Duration: 6-month contract with possible long-term extension Rate: Up to $800 per day We're partnering with a growing national business that is investing heavily in business systems, process improvement and operational standardisation across multiple states. They are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to support a range of business systems projects, including Microsoft Business Central and other operational platforms. This role will sit under an experienced project lead and support the delivery of requirements, process documentation, configuration support, change readiness and go-live activity including UAT testing. This is a great opportunity for a BA who enjoys bringing structure to evolving environments. The business is moving quickly, so they need someone practical, collaborative and comfortable working in a setting where not everything is fully defined yet. About the role You'll work closely with project leadership, internal teams, vendors and business stakeholders across Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia to understand business needs, document processes and support the successful delivery of systems change. The role will involve BA work across multiple projects, with a focus on standardising processes, improving documentation and helping business users adopt new ways of working. Key responsibilities Gather, analyse and document business requirements across Microsoft Business Central and other business systems Map current and future state processes using tools such as Visio, Miro or similar Support system configuration discussions by translating business needs into clear requirements Create and maintain process documentation, SharePoint pages, project artefacts and user-facing materials Work with project teams using tools such as Monday.com and DevOps Support testing, change readiness and preparation for a planned July go-live Engage with stakeholders across different teams, entities and locations Help standardise processes and ways of working across the business Act as a practical link between business users, project teams and technical resources About you You'll be a genuine Business Analyst with strong fundamentals across requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation. You don't need to be overly senior, but you will need to be confident, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment. You will bring: Experience as a Business Analyst across systems, process improvement or business transformation projects Exposure to Microsoft Business Central , CRM platforms or other business systems would be highly regarded Strong documentation, process mapping and requirements gathering skills Ability to work with stakeholders who may have limited systems or project experience A practical, team-focused approach with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity Some exposure to change management, training, testing or go-live readiness would be beneficial Confidence working across multiple workstreams and priorities A willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the broader project team Why apply?
