About Us TRUE BLUE IT is seeking a qualified and motivated Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Darwin. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure and IT systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance for business operations and client environments. Position Overview The Computer Network and Systems Engineer will play a key role in planning, developing, and managing network and system solutions. The position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic IT environment. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain computer networks, servers, and related infrastructure. Monitor system and network performance to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner. Implement network security measures, backup procedures, and disaster recovery solutions. Install, configure, and support operating systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system procedures, and network diagrams. Provide technical support and recommendations for infrastructure upgrades and improvements. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver effective IT solutions and services. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Computer Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in network and systems engineering or a similar role. Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and security practices. Experience with Windows Server, Linux systems, cloud technologies, and virtualization platforms. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure. Salary Annual salary package between AUD $100,000 and $120,000 plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.
