Job Description About the Role We are looking for motivated Domestic Cleaners to join our Disability Services team and provide cleaning support services to NDIS participants within residential settings. The successful candidate will perform household cleaning tasks while maintaining a respectful, participant-focused, and professional approach. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently across different participant homes. Key Responsibilities Domestic Cleaning Perform household cleaning tasks including: Vacuuming Mopping Dusting Bathroom cleaning Kitchen cleaning Surface sanitisation Maintain clean and hygienic household environments for participants Household Upkeep Assist with general household organisation and tidiness Support laundry and linen-related household tasks where required Maintain safe and clean living spaces aligned with participant needs Participant Interaction Communicate professionally and respectfully with participants Maintain participant privacy, dignity, and confidentiality Promote a positive and respectful service experience Safety and Compliance Follow safe cleaning procedures and workplace health and safety practices Use cleaning equipment and products safely and appropriately Ensure services align with organisational standards and participant expectations Documentation and Reporting Maintain records of completed services where required Report hazards, concerns, or maintenance issues identified during service delivery Follow organisational reporting and incident procedures Requirements Essential Previous experience in domestic cleaning or housekeeping Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Professional and respectful approach when working within participant homes Own vehicle and cleaning equipment & chemicals Desirable Experience working within the NDIS, disability services, or community care sector Experience cleaning within residential or support environments Understanding of participant-centred service delivery Basic understanding of infection control and safe cleaning procedures Compliance Requirements National Police Check NDIS Worker Screening Check Working With Children Check Work Entitlements Candidates must have appropriate work entitlements to work in Australia .
