About the Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of fertiliser products. You will work closely with both local and international clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored product recommendation and practical solutions. The role also involves delivering technical guidance building strong client relationships and staying up to date with industry trends and innovations. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective commercial growers, agribusinesses, distributors, and other business clients through phone, email, online communication platforms, and site visits. Identify potential customers and business opportunities for fertiliser and agricultural supply products, and actively generate new sales leads within designated market areas. Assess clients’ operational requirements, crop and soil conditions, product usage needs, quality expectations, packaging requirements, and pricing considerations in order to recommend suitable fertiliser and agricultural product solutions. Promote and sell a range of industrial agricultural products including fertilisers, micronutrients, soil improvement products, and related agricultural supply solutions to business customers. Conduct product presentations and provide technical guidance to customers regarding the safe and effective use of fertiliser products and crop nutrition solutions. Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documentation, negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers, and assist in finalising supply agreements and orders. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to arrange timely supply and delivery of products to customers, while maintaining effective communication throughout the order process. Monitor agricultural market trends, competitor activities, seasonal demand patterns, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities and support business growth. Maintain ongoing contact with customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services provided, respond to enquiries, and identify after-sales support requirements. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, quotations, orders, and market information within the company’s internal systems and databases. Prepare periodic sales and market reports for management, including sales performance analysis, customer trends, product demand, and recommendations for business improvement. Attend industry events, trade shows, agricultural exhibitions, and customer meetings to promote the company’s fertiliser and agricultural product range and strengthen industry relationships. About you Proven experience in sales, preferably within agriculture sector with exposure to fertiliser or related industries Strong understanding of crop nutrition, soil health, and fertiliser products (or someone with sound scientific basis that allows fast training) Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively promote fertiliser solutions Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a strong focus on achieving sales targets Ability to work independently while managing and growing a designated sales territory Self-motivated and results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales target Current manual driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites, including farms and agricultural operations Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders Proficient with Microsoft Windows program including Word, Outlook and Excel.
