Full-Time Building Associate Create Build Enjoy Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per year Create Build Enjoy is seeking a motivated and reliable Full-Time Building Associate to support our residential and commercial building operations. This role involves assisting with construction activities, coordinating daily site operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Assist in the construction, renovation, and maintenance of residential and commercial building projects Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project instructions Coordinate and carry out general building and carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing building materials Prepare worksites, organise materials, and maintain tools and equipment for daily operations Monitor building progress and assist in ensuring work is completed according to project schedules and quality standards Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients regarding site activities and project requirements Conduct routine inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively Assist with ordering, receiving, and managing building materials and supplies Support site maintenance activities, including cleaning, waste disposal, and ensuring a safe and organised work environment Identify and report construction issues, hazards, or defects to management promptly Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of building processes and customer service outcomes Requirements Previous experience in construction, building, or carpentry work preferred Ability to interpret plans and follow technical instructions Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices within the construction industry Strong practical problem-solving and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines White Card (Construction Induction Card) required Driver’s licence preferred What We Offer Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for training, career progression, and skill development If you are hardworking, dependable, and passionate about the building industry, we would love to hear from you.
