As our Natural Resource Officer, you’ll be part of a small, supportive team working closely with volunteers, landholders, and partner organisations. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting Corowa District Landcare’s activities across a diverse range of programs, projects, and education initiatives. From helping deliver on-ground activities and supporting community events, to developing communications content and contributing to future initiatives, this is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and purpose. About You You are a proactive, self-motivated and organised team player who enjoys working with people and contributing to positive environmental and community outcomes. We’re Looking for Someone With: Knowledge of Landcare, natural resource management, and/or environmental programs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong administrative and digital skills (Microsoft 365, email, online platforms). Confidence to work with a broad range of stakeholders. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Skills in social media, website updates, or content creation. Experience in community engagement, events, or volunteer coordination. Commitment to Landcare values and environmental stewardship. A current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel occasionally. A current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) . This is a full-time position (35 hrs/week) on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027. Part-time applications will also be considered.
