We are currently seeking an experienced Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Operator / Tracker to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable operator who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a supportive team delivering quality underground infrastructure projects. The successful applicant will be involved in the safe and efficient delivery of HDD works, including operating drilling equipment, tracking bores, supporting drill crews, and ensuring works are completed to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain HDD drilling equipment safely and efficiently Accurately track drilling operations and maintain line and level throughout bores Read and interpret plans, DBYD information and service locations Assist with site set-up, mobilisation and demobilisation Ensure compliance with all Workplace Health & Safety requirements and site procedures Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients and crew members Assist with general labouring and support tasks as required Contribute to a positive team environment and maintain high-quality workmanship Essential Criteria Demonstrated experience operating or tracking HDD equipment Experience with underground utility installations Ability to read and interpret plans and DBYD information Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety practices White/Blue Construction Card Current HR Truck Licence (preferred) Reliable, hardworking and positive attitude Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction Strong communication and problem-solving skills Desirable Criteria Locator experience Excavator ticket and experience First Aid/CPR Additional machinery tickets Own transport What We Offer Full-time position with immediate start Excellent team culture and supportive work environment Competitive pay rates based on experience Overtime and ongoing work opportunities RDOs and great working conditions Opportunity to grow within an established and respected HDD team If you are looking for long-term employment with a company that values safety, quality and its people, we would love to hear from you.
