Team Leader for a high behavioural support home needed in the Dapto area About the role Soteria is seeking an experienced NDIS Team Leader - SIL to join our dynamic team in Dapto, NSW. As a full-time team leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the provision of high-quality disability support services to our clients. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our NDIS operations run seamlessly and our clients receive the care and assistance they need. What you'll be doing Providing effective leadership, supervision, and support to a team of support workers delivering NDIS-funded Supported Independent Living (SIL) services Developing, implementing, and monitoring support plans to meet the individual needs of NDIS participants Ensuring all NDIS documentation and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting professional development, and providing mentoring support to workers Liaising with NDIS participants, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery Monitoring and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of SIL services, identifying areas for improvement Assisting with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new support workers What we're looking for Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar NDIS team leader or supervisory role within the disability support sector Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, eligibility criteria, and funding models Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of support workers Proficient in creating and implementing person-centred support plans Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound, ethical decisions Relevant tertiary qualifications in disability, community services, or a related field Current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid driver's licence What we offer At Soteria, we are committed to creating a rewarding and supportive work environment for our employees.
