About the role We are seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will support the finance team across a broad range of accounting activities including reconciliations, journals, accruals, reporting, fixed assets, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Importantly, we are highly interested in candidates with strong payroll experience or exposure, particularly within complex or operational environments. Candidates with payroll systems knowledge, payroll reconciliation experience, and an understanding of payroll compliance and reporting will be highly regarded. This role offers a varied finance position supporting day-to-day accounting operations while contributing to broader finance and reporting activities across the business. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and posting accruals and journal entries Completing reconciliations across sub-ledger and general ledger accounts Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes Assisting with financial reporting, examining operating costs and budgeting activities Supporting accounts payable and receivable functions Assisting with payroll reconciliations, payroll reporting, and payroll-related finance activities Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes and systems Providing general finance and administrative support to the wider Finance team Support in formulating budgeting and forecasting activities, including financial analysis Assist with year end audit preparation and financial close activities Provide back-up support to accounts receivable, including customer setup, reporting and debt monitoring Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and maintain strong financial controls Requirements: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as Accountant. Bachelor’s degree qualification in accounting required and master's degree preferred. Good command over english language and amazing communication skills required.
