Role Purpose The Civil Engineer supports the planning, design, coordination and delivery of civil construction works across company projects. The role ensures works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, Australian Standards, client expectations and regulatory requirements. This position contributes to project performance by providing technical input, monitoring site activities, supporting documentation, managing compliance obligations and improving construction processes. Key Responsibilities Review civil engineering drawings, plans and technical specifications. Assist with planning, design and coordination of civil works. Support delivery of earthworks, drainage, roads and pavements. Conduct site inspections, progress checks and quality reviews. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal teams. Prepare cost estimates, material quantities and project schedules. Monitor timelines, budgets, workmanship and contractual requirements. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory obligations. Identify site issues and recommend practical engineering solutions. Prepare project reports, progress updates and variation documentation. Maintain accurate project records, approvals and engineering files. Support quality assurance, inspections and defect rectification processes. Assist with risk assessments, safety planning and site controls. Review contractor performance and support issue resolution. Contribute to process improvements, cost control and project efficiency. What We Are Looking For Minimum one (1) year of relevant civil engineering or construction experience. Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation. Knowledge of Australian construction standards and safety requirements. Strong communication, coordination, reporting and problem-solving skills.
