About the role As a MR Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region. This is a physically demanding position suited to individuals who are fit, active and capable of handling repetitive manual tasks. Key Responsibilities Safely operating and maintaining refrigerated transport vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition Physically unloading milk crates ( 20kg per crate ) at each delivery point Handling high-volume deliveries with loads up to 4.5 tonnes per run , requiring consistent manual lifting and movement Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure compliance Monitoring vehicle performance and conducting regular inspections to identify and address any issues Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients Collaborating with the broader transport and logistics team to ensure seamless operations To be successful in this role you’ll have: Valid MR Licence, HR Licence highly regarded Minimum 1 years’ experience in Road Transport (Refrigerated Transport experience high regarded) Ability to provide a current traffic report Physical fitness for manual unloading Ability to operate a heavy vehicle in a professional & safe manner A punctual, reliable and courteous approach to all tasks Ability to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing A willingness to learn and be trained on electronic equipment, such as tablets, for reporting and monitoring driving hours A strong Think Safe attitude Important information about applying for the role: To apply, click the ‘Apply Now’ button on SEEK or email your resume with the job title and location in the subject line to roadmaster.com.au .
