ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY As MOB Academy continues to grow with the recent addition of our year 7 cohort, we are seeking an experienced passionate, and dynamic “Explicit Instruction” teacher to join our team and contribute to a collaborative, student-focused learning environment. Our teaching and learning framework is grounded in Explicit Instruction —a proven, high-impact approach that delivers clarity and consistency in the classroom. This method involves direct, well-structured teaching, where content is carefully sequenced, understanding is regularly checked, and students are guided through deliberate practice. Explicit Instruction is especially effective in supporting boys’ education, fostering strong academic and behavioural outcomes through predictable routines, clear expectations, and active engagement. When combined with our school’s core values and our commitment to nurture and care, this approach creates a powerful environment where boys thrive—academically, emotionally, and socially. It's a key driver in our mission of “Building Better Men” —young men who are confident, respectful, and well-rounded contributors to their communities. IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL DEMONSTRATE: Experience with Explicit Instruction Prior experience using Explicit Instruction. Educators who understand the value of structured, teacher-led lessons that build mastery and confidence. Primary teaching experience Proven experience teaching primary students, with the skills to design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet curriculum standards, foster a positive classroom environment, and support students’ holistic development. A passion for Boys’ Education An understanding of how boys learn best, and a desire to contribute to a learning environment tailored to their academic, social, and emotional development.
