An exciting opportunity now exists for a passionate and experienced Production Manager to join the Mill Lead Team in a permanent full-time capacity. This is a senior role within the organisation, reporting to the General Manager, which will allow the successful applicant to provide strategic leadership, in partnership with the Leadership Team, to secure and grow the business. You will manage the performance of the two production lines and work closely with your management team to deliver on production and cost targets while identifying and implementing opportunities for optimisation of business results, employee engagement and productivity. Key Accountabilities • Ensure Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Productivity, Cost and People outcomes across the production lines meet business unit KPIs • Ensure the Pulp and Paper strategic plan aligns with the broader Business Unit direction and is effectively implemented • Ensure strong alignment between Production and Maintenance teams to support delivery of the Mill Business Plan • Lead, coach and develop the Paper Mill and Pulp teams to improve performance and achieve business outcomes through continuous improvement • Provide visible leadership across the business unit, including oversight of production priorities and resource planning • Provide direction and technical leadership to Line Managers to maintain quality, operational efficiency and continuous improvement • Ensure Major Hazard Facility (MHF) systems remain compliant and are operating effectively • Participate in an on-call roster to provide leadership oversight and ensure continuity of production operations as required You must be a proactive leader who can work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to develop and deliver the Mill Production plan. This role requires a strong focus on achieving results across safety, environment, quality, cost, production and people, while building a culture that supports continuous improvement and aligns with organisational values.
