About the Role This is a full-time position for a licensed electrician with strong service, maintenance, fault-finding, and customer-facing experience. Most of our work is based across the Gold Coast and includes domestic electrical service work, real estate maintenance, renovation projects, light commercial maintenance, general electrical upgrades, data and telecommunications, CCTV, air conditioning electrical works, and compliance-related jobs. You will be trusted to run your day, communicate with customers, complete jobs properly, and represent the MCH Electrical name with pride. This role would suit a well-rounded electrician who enjoys problem-solving, likes variety, and wants to be part of a small family business where good work and the right attitude are genuinely valued. What We Offer $45–$50 per hour , depending on experience, skill level, and attitude Monday to Friday work, with occasional after-hours services when required Bonus opportunities for the right person Fully stocked work van iPad and systems to help you do the job properly Supportive small team environment Ongoing training and development Clear systems and processes so you are not left guessing Team BBQs, golf days, and social events A long-term opportunity with a growing Gold Coast business What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: A fully licensed electrician Experienced in service, maintenance, and fault finding Confident with residential electrical work and light commercial maintenance Experienced or confident working in real estate maintenance and renovation environments Neat, organised, and professional Good with customers and able to explain things clearly Reliable and able to manage jobs independently Willing to follow systems and learn the way we do things Comfortable using an iPad and job management software Based on the Gold Coast or nearby Looking for a long-term role, not just a short stopover Experience with SimPRO is helpful, but not essential if you are willing to learn. What You Will Be Doing Your day-to-day work may include: Electrical service and maintenance work Real estate and property maintenance jobs Residential renovation electrical work Domestic and light commercial electrical work Fault finding, repairs, and upgrades Switchboard upgrades and safety switch work Smoke alarm testing, installs, and compliance work Telecommunications and data cabling work CCTV installation and maintenance Air conditioning electrical connections and related works Lighting, power, fans, appliances, and general electrical installs Testing, inspection, and compliance checks Clear communication with customers, property managers, builders, and team members Job notes, photos, quoting notes, and recommendations through our systems Supporting apprentices when required Who This Role Is Not For This role is probably not the right fit if you: Do not enjoy service and maintenance work Only want large construction site work Do not like dealing with customers Need to be chased to complete job notes, photos, or paperwork Are not interested in learning our systems Are looking for a short-term role Do not take pride in your workmanship Do not want to be part of a small team environment We are a small team, so attitude, reliability, and communication matter just as much as technical ability.
