The Position Lawson have an opportunity for a Trainee Claims Consultant to join our team of professionals. The successful applicant will support our team of Consultants by engaging with customers, facilitating required actions and providing advice on low-risk claims. The Trainee Claims Consultant will benefit from a structured and practical approach to personal development within a passionate and supportive team environment. Our goal will be your successful transition to a Claims Consultant role. In this role your responsibilities will include: The entry of workers’ compensation claims, related documentation, and invoices, Facilitating the accurate release of entitlements to our clients’ injured employees, Assisting our Consultants in completing agreed strategic activities, Liaising with our clients, medical practitioners and legal representatives in preparation for medical appointments and Tribunal hearings, Supporting our Manager of Governance and Reporting with monthly data exchanges, Contributing with the development, implementation, evaluation, review & improvements of claim management policies, procedures and processes, Providing advice to clients and draft determinations on low-risk claims, Managing system access set-up and review for staff and clients, and Taking ownership of a claim portfolio during periods of team member leave. Skills & Experience The ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, Strong focus on customer service Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel).
