About the role We are seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team at The Pantry - Cape Woolamai. This is a full-time position based in our butchery and delicatessen in Cape Woolamai, Victoria. As our Butcher, you will play a vital role in preparing and presenting high-quality meat products to our customers. What you'll be doing Receiving, inspecting and storing meat deliveries Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products according to customer orders and preferences Providing excellent customer service and offering recommendations on meat selection and preparation Ensuring the butchery operations adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked butchery and delicatessen Assisting with inventory management and stock control What we're looking for Formal butchery qualifications or equivalent practical experience Excellent knowledge of different meat cuts, preparation methods and food safety practices Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide expert product knowledge and recommendations Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure A genuine passion for providing high-quality meat products and delivering exceptional customer service What we offer At The Pantry - Cape Woolamai, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
