We provide a business lunch or an intimate dinner, savour the pleasure of connecting over delicious meals in a setting ideal for unwinding beside Sydney Harbour. The main duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following: To ensure that operating and kitchen equipment is maintained to a good standard with minimum breakage. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across kitchen workstations including equipment and ridges. Responsible for storing all the dairy products, fish, meats, dry goods and vegetables in correct manner Assist toprepare and cook basic dishes under supervision Preparing all the mis-en-place for assigned section Assists in quality control of items and ensure proper storage of food and assist with stock rotation and inventory Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service Qualifications: Completion of Chef Apprenticeship Certificate on Commercial Cookery Good Hygiene and food safety Knowledge Safe and accurate knife skills Knowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methods Desired: Experience as Commis Chef in 5 star hotel restaurants or similar environment This is your chance to work with exclusive clientele at a luxury hotel like no other.
