As part of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Access Team, the role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, delivering therapeutic interventions, coordinating care, and providing education related to addiction and treatment options. This includes education and support to staff, clients, family members, and external agencies and community services, using evidence based practice. The role requires a sound working knowledge of relevant legislation and contemporary Alcohol and Other Drugs theoretical frameworks. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term. One vacancy is available, either ongoing or fixed for 18 months.
