As a casual cook, you will play a crucial role in supporting children's health and wellbeing by preparing balanced, nutritious meals that cater to dietary and cultural needs. We offer competitive rates for Qualified Cooks up to $40 per hour Superannuation! Responsibilities: Prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks in line with centre menus and nutrition guidelines Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at the highest level Manage allergies, intolerances, and special dietary requirements with care and accuracy Work independently, communicate effectively with centre staff, and help foster a positive team atmosphere Qualifications & Requirements: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery & Food Handling (or equivalent) Previous experience in an early childhood service (highly regarded) Flexibility and willingness to travel to different centres across Inner West and Western Sydney Valid WWCC and full Australian working rights Valid National Police Check ($50 reimbursed after completing 5 shifts with Pulse) Driver's licence and car (highly regarded) Food Supervisor Certificate (highly regarded) Why choose us?
