Job Title: Senior Waste Contracts and Projects Officer Client: Logan City Council Location: Logan, QLD Rate: $58.06 super Duration: 8 June 2026 - 30 June 2026 (with potential for extension) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm About the Role We are seeking a highly capable Senior Waste Contracts and Projects Officer to support the delivery of waste management contracts and operational projects within a local government environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring effective contract performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across waste services. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor waste-related contracts to ensure service delivery standards are met Support procurement processes in line with government policies and procedures Coordinate operational projects from planning through to delivery Engage with internal stakeholders and external contractors to resolve issues Prepare reports, documentation, and compliance updates Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within waste services Key Skills & Experience Strong background in contract management within government or local council Experience in procurement processes and compliance requirements Proven ability in operational project management Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytical and reporting skills What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate of $58.06 super Opportunity to work within a dynamic local government environment Exposure to meaningful community-focused projects Potential for contract extension based on performance and business needs
