This position is responsible for providing high-level, effective administrative and compliance support to the Workforce & Resourcing team. The Pre‑Employment Advisor is responsible for coordinating pre‑employment processes, supporting Workforce Business Partners, and delivering high-quality service to candidates and stakeholders while ensuring all compliance requirements are met. The role: Manage the end-to-end pre‑employment process, including qualification checks, Working with Children Checks, police checks, reference checks, visa verification and right‑to‑work compliance. Draft employment contracts and offer letters with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain accurate candidate records across recruitment and HR systems (including PageUp). Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new team members. Ensure all documentation and processes meet legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements. Provide administrative support to Workforce Business Partners and the broader Workforce team, as required. Skills and experience you’ll need to be successful: Demonstrated experience working in an administrative or HR support role within a similar environment. Previous recruitment or pre‑employment experience is highly regarded. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite and virtual communication tools (e.g. Zoom). Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
