About the Team: The team provides high-level strategic, operational, and governance support to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Enterprise and Digital, working collaboratively across the University to deliver coordinated initiatives and strong outcomes for students and staff. About the Role: As the Senior Project and Operations Officer, you will provide high-level coordination, operational support and strategic input to ensure the effective functioning of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Enterprise and Digital. You will work closely with the Senior Advisor – Strategy and Projects, the Executive Officer, and senior leaders across the Portfolio to deliver high-quality reports, governance documentation, project coordination and operational support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with diverse stakeholders and brings strong judgement, initiative and organisational capability. Position Key Duties Prepare high-quality reports, submissions, strategic documents, presentations, and briefings to support informed decision-making and governance requirements. Coordinate and support executive meetings, including agendas, board papers, briefings, and action tracking. Manage a range of operational tasks to support the effective running of the Office and broader Portfolio. Monitor milestone deadlines, priorities, and deliverables for the DVC and Portfolio leadership. Provide project coordination for strategic and operational initiatives, including research, progress tracking, stakeholder engagement, and preparing updates. Build strong internal and external relationships to support collaboration and effective communication across the University. You will bring: Relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Strong management, administrative and organisational capability in a complex, fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of committee governance and the ability to interpret and apply complex policy and procedural requirements. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
