We’re working with a progressive mixed farming enterprise expanding their feedlot alongside a cropping operation. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with solid feedlot experience who’s ready to step into a role with real responsibility and be part of a growing operation. With construction underway, this position will play a key role in supporting the expansion while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. The Role You will be working closely with the owners and involved across all aspects of the feedlot, including: Daily feeding and stock management Monitoring and reading cattle General livestock husbandry Working alongside contractors during construction Supporting and leading staff on the ground Maintaining accurate records and completing day-to-day bookwork General feedlot maintenance and operations Assisting with feed milling coordination and site operations Supporting environmental compliance and site standards You’ll be outside getting the job done, but also across the detail behind the scenes. This role carries real responsibility across the operation, with a focus on livestock performance, staff coordination, site standards and maintaining high levels of animal welfare, nutrition, efficiency and profitability.
