About the role Civeo Facility Management (part of Civeo Corporation) is looking for skilled electricians to join our growing casual workforce across Queensland. We have plenty of work available and will typically be in 7 day swing patterns. We can work in with your availability. This is a hands-on role where you’ll spend your time in the field, travelling across multiple remote mining villages (Coppabella, Nebo, Dysart, Moranbah and more). Key Responsibilities Deliver planned, preventative and breakdown electrical maintenance Fault-find and repair electrical systems safely and efficiently Install, test and maintain wiring and equipment Inspect for defects, hazards and compliance Maintain accurate records and coordinate with contractors Support site maintenance and uphold strong safety standards Participate in on-call/after-hours while on swing About You Trade qualified Electrician with a current Open Electrical Licence Current Class C (manual) Driver’s Licence Current LVR/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain and maintain annually) Demonstrated experience in reactive and preventative maintenance, fault finding and electrical repairs Previous experience in remote villages, mining, facilities, or high-volume service environments is highly regarded Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive and high-performing work environment Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Clearance Valid working rights within Australia What We Offer $70–$90 per hour super (based on skills and experience) Flexible casual employment with opportunities for ongoing work FIFO, DIDO and transport options depending on location All meals and accommodation provided while on site Access to on-site facilities including gym, recreation areas and pools (varies by village) A strong safety-first culture and supportive team environment Employee benefits including discount programs and wellbeing support (EAP) Opportunity to gain experience across multiple sites and expand your skillset As one of Australia’s leading owner-operators of remote accommodation villages, Civeo Facility Management offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive team and an exciting journey of growth.
