Unique opportunity to take ownership of marketing across some of Brisbane’s most established and personality-driven hospitality venues. This is not a traditional “social media manager” role. We’re looking for a commercially creative hospitality marketer, someone who can build venue energy, create memorable activations and bring fresh ideas that drive trade and brand presence across multiple venues. You’ll be joining a long-standing family-owned hospitality group with iconic venues across Brisbane’s entertainment scene, each with its own identity, audience and culture. The Opportunity This role sits across multiple hospitality brands and combines: brand marketing, event activations, venue promotions, partnerships, media engagement, digital strategy, hands-on campaign execution. You’ll work closely with ownership and operators to shape how the venues show up in market, not just online, but in the real world. The role has a strong creative and strategic element, but it’s still very hands-on. You’ll need to be comfortable rolling ideas into execution and bringing campaigns to life quickly inside a fast-moving hospitality environment. There is already support around some areas of content and execution. This role is more about driving ideas, energy, direction and commercial outcomes, not sitting behind Canva all day. What You’ll Be Doing Leading marketing strategy and brand direction across multiple venues Developing creative activations, partnerships, and event concepts that drive trade and publicity Creating annual event and campaign calendars around key hospitality moments (Magic Round, Melbourne Cup, Halloween, St Patrick’s Day, etc.) Driving rebrands and venue repositioning projects across the group Building relationships with media, promoters, local businesses, and publications Developing EDM/database strategy and building stronger customer retention channels Identifying new marketing opportunities, trends, partnerships, and AI-driven opportunities within hospitality marketing Supporting digital campaigns, socials, and broader content direction Working closely with venue teams during activations and major events About You You’re someone who understands how hospitality brands actually grow, not just through content calendars and scheduled posts, but by creating experiences, energy, and reasons for people to talk about a venue. You likely come from a hospitality, nightlife, entertainment, events, or experiential marketing background, and have experience building campaigns and activations that drive genuine engagement and trade. You’re commercially minded, highly proactive and naturally full of ideas. You don’t wait to be told what to do, you spot opportunities, think creatively and know how to bring concepts to life in a fast-moving environment. You’ll bring: Experience across hospitality, entertainment, events, or venue-led marketing Strong activation, campaign, or promotional experience Confidence working across multiple brands or venues simultaneously The ability to think both creatively and commercially Strong relationship-building skills with operators, media, suppliers, promoters, or partners A hands-on approach and willingness to roll ideas into execution You don’t need to be a graphic designer or full-time content creator, but you should still be comfortable jumping into the detail when needed and guiding the overall creative direction. Most importantly, you’ll suit a business that moves quickly, values initiative, and wants someone who can bring fresh energy, ideas, and momentum into the group. Package Up to $120K Super Quarterly performance incentives Significant autonomy and ownership Opportunity to shape the marketing direction of multiple established Brisbane venues. This is a genuine opportunity to make a visible impact within one of Brisbane’s well-known and respected hospitality groups.
