They're looking for an experienced and strategic Coordinator Asset Management to lead and strengthen its asset planning and management capability. About the RoleReporting to the Manager Organisational Planning and Strategy, this leadership role is responsible for overseeing asset management operations, systems and long-term planning across the organisation. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in delivering integrated asset strategies, including a 10-year capital works and renewal program.This is a pivotal position that ensures council assets are effectively managed, optimised and aligned with community needs and organisational objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Asset Management, Asset Data/GIS and property-related functions Develop, implement and maintain Asset Management Plans and long-term capital works programs. Coordinate lifecycle asset planning, valuation and renewal strategies Oversee and continuously improve asset management systems, including GIS and corporate IT platforms. Manage business planning, budgets, financial reporting and performance outcomes. Provide high-level strategic advice and reporting to senior stakeholders and leadership. Drive continuous improvement, innovation and integration across asset systems and processes. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team to achieve organisational outcomes. Ensure accurate asset data, reporting, compliance and audit requirements are met. Key Selection Criteria Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, asset management, facilities management or similar, or equivalent experience Extensive experience in infrastructure asset management within a large and complex organisation Demonstrated experience developing and delivering asset management strategies and 10-year capital works programs Strong knowledge of lifecycle costing, asset valuation, and financial/renewal planning Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve outcomes Strong business acumen, including financial analysis, budgeting and strategic planning Advanced experience with asset systems, GIS and data-driven decision-making Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Demonstrated ability to prepare high-level reports, business cases and technical documentation.
