As an Intake and Assessment Officer, you’ll be one of the friendly faces young people meet when they come to the Indooroopilly headspace centre. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming, safe, and positive first experience. With your approachable nature and strong relationship-building skills, you’ll form meaningful connections with young people, their families, and key stakeholders to ensure they feel supported and understood from the first conversation. About You Experience working with young people, with a proven ability to build rapport and maintain strong, trusting relationships. Strong understanding of mental health and evidence-based interventions. Skilled in intake and screening processes, including comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments. Confident in conducting risk assessments, including suicide and harm-risk evaluation, and developing effective safety and action plans.
