Forklift labourer - Cooranbong Forklift Operator - Glass & Aluminium Products AWX are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our Client in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment specialising in glass windows, doors, and aluminium/metal frames. About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe handling, movement, loading, and unloading of fragile glass products and metal framing materials. This role requires a high level of care, attention to detail, and confidence operating forklifts around delicate and oversized items. Temp to Perm Opportunity Rate: $36 Key Responsibilities ·Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within warehouse and production areas ·Load, unload, transport, and store glass windows, doors, and aluminium/metal frames ·Handle fragile materials with care to minimise damage and breakages ·Assist with picking, packing, and dispatch activities ·Perform routine forklift safety checks and basic maintenance ·Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times ·Work collaboratively with warehouse and production staff to meet daily targets Skills & Experience ·Current Forklift Licence (LF required) ·Previous experience handling glass products, windows, doors, or metal/aluminium frames preferred ·Strong understanding of safe load handling and storage practices ·Ability to work in a physically demanding environment ·Good attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety ·Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team What We Offer ·Supportive team environment ·Competitive hourly rate based on experience ·Opportunity for overtime and career growth If you are an experienced forklift operator with confidence handling fragile and oversized materials, we would love to hear from you.
