Chief Sonographer Full Time / Part Time/ Contractor InOne Healthcare (InOne Imaging) Melbourne Western Suburbs | Deer Park & Bacchus Marsh VIC Leadership Opportunity | Sign-on Bonus | Equity & Ownership Pathways About the role As Chief Sonographer, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing daily ultrasound operations, mentoring sonographers, maintaining clinical standards, and supporting the continued growth of our imaging services. You will perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations while contributing to workflow optimization, quality assurance, team development, and exceptional patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the sonography team across clinic locations Perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations including: General ultrasound Obstetric and gynaecological imaging Musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound Vascular studies Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures and injections Ensure high clinical standards, compliance, and quality assurance processes Mentor and train sonographers, graduates, and support staff Oversee workflow efficiency and equipment maintenance Collaborate closely with radiologists, referrers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Deliver outstanding patient-centred care and communication Support ongoing service development and implementation of advanced imaging techniques About You ASAR accredited Medical Sonographer Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline Extensive experience in diagnostic ultrasound Previous leadership or senior sonographer experience highly regarded Strong clinical knowledge across a broad range of ultrasound services Excellent communication and interpersonal skill Passionate about mentoring, team culture, and patient care Ability to work independently and lead within a fast-growing environment Why Join InOne Healthcare?
