The Opportunity Due to continued growth and internal promotion, Wild Desert is seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Roma on a 2/2 DIDO Roster. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our heavy machinery, plant, equipment and vehicles. Key responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related components Perform routine maintenance and servicing on a range of heavy-duty equipment Identify and resolve complex mechanical issues Maintain accurate records of all work completed Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient operations Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures Complete work tasks as assigned in Business Management System What we’re looking for Qualified Diesel Mechanic with at least 3 years’ experience Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent mechanical aptitude and practical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety and quality standards Good communication and customer service skills Oil and Gas Field experience is favourable Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position What we offer At Wild Desert Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
