We are seeking a self-motivated and vibrant Diploma Qualified Educator to join the experienced and welcoming team at Tribe@Ridgewood in our beautiful, well equipped Nursery Room The Nursery Room Leader plays a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children in the Ridgewood community. This permanent, full-time position is essential for ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. The successful candidate will lead a team of educators, promoting best practices in early childhood education and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Lead and manage our Nursery Room, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children. Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the individual needs of each child, through inquiry-based learning and the KG learning approach Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and organisational policies. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the educational program. Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the education and training sector. Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Working with Children Check clearance.
