Health Roundtable (HRT) is a member-owned, not-for-profit organisation that has been at the heart of health system improvement in Australia and New Zealand for almost 30 years. We connect more than 200 hospitals through benchmarking intelligence, peer learning communities, and evidence-based improvement programs that genuinely change clinical practice. We are now looking for a Head of Transformation & Community to join our senior leadership team — a role that sits at the intersection of clinical improvement, member engagement, and thought leadership, and that will help define what HRT looks and feels like for our members over the next decade. What this role is Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead HRT’s content, community, and clinical improvement agenda — translating benchmarking data into real practice change across the membership. You’ll work alongside the Head of Operations & Member Experience and an expert analytics team. Key responsibilities: Work directly with members to translate data into clinical practice change Lead HRT’s thought leadership program — research, peer-reviewed content, white papers Oversee and professionalise peer learning communities across the membership Coordinate Advisory Council operations and synthesise member insights Plan and deliver flagship events including Better Together and the Innovation Showcase Build clinical and improvement capability within the HRT team Prepare board papers and briefing materials for the General Manager What We’re Looking For You’re a clinician first, with hands-on expertise in at least one of: Virtual care — telehealth, remote monitoring, digitally enabled care substitution Hospital in the Home (HITH) — program design, clinical governance, patient selection Emergency models of care — demand management, patient flow, alternative pathways Beyond clinical grounding, you bring: Credibility with senior clinical and executive stakeholders Experience developing and presenting thought leadership content Ability to build trusted relationships across the sector Strong communicator with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and groups Demonstrated team leadership capability Exposure to AI, analytics, or digital health tools Experience in a member-based or not-for-profit health organisation, highly regarded Why this role HRT is at a genuinely pivotal moment.
