13th May, 2026 RSL Queensland is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation supporting veterans and their families through innovative programs, research investment and community leadership. For more than a century, our purpose, care, commemoration and camaraderie, is as strong as ever. We’re looking for a confident, people-focused Engagement Officer to help grow that network, someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning conversations into meaningful outcomes. You’ll be engaging with ex-service organisations, community groups and partners — representing RSL Queensland, promoting our services, and identifying opportunities to better support the veteran community. If you enjoy connecting the dots, influencing outcomes, and working with purpose, this is a role where you can genuinely make an impact. What you’ll do: Build and manage relationships across the veteran support network Represent RSL Queensland at meetings, events and forums Deliver engagement activities, events and stakeholder forums Promote and grow usage of key initiatives, including the Veteran & Family Wellbeing Network portal Gather insights from the sector and feed into strategy and service delivery Work closely with internal teams to connect veterans to the right supports About you: Experience in a stakeholder engagement, account management or partnerships role Confidence presenting, networking and building relationships (even in new environments) Strong communication skills An ability to build rapport Good organisational skills and attention to detail A relevant degree (business, marketing or similar) If you’re a natural connector who enjoys building relationships and supporting meaningful outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.
