Department for Health and Wellbeing – Corporate and Infrastructure Division Salary: $112,163 to $121,246 – ASO7 – Full Time / Short Term contract Up to 1 Year Overview: The Principal Advisor Sustainability and Climate Change is responsible for planning, leading and coordinating advisory programs and services that guide and assist in the delivery of SA Health’s Sustainability and Climate Change objectives and obligations associated with the Premier and Cabinet Circular 007 – Climate Ready Government, SA Health Environmental. The position leads the development, delivery and evaluation of engagement and communication strategies and plans to engage broadly across SA Health and provide expert advice and guidance to the development of energy management plans that improve sustainability and reduce emissions and costs associated with building energy use. The Principal Advisor Sustainability and Climate Change is also responsible for initiating, planning and delivering complex sustainability and climate change projects that promote continuous improvement in the environmental performance of SA Health assets and facilities and provides specialist advice to project teams and stakeholders in relation to the interpretation and impact of sustainability and climate change policies and guidelines on project deliverables SA Health is committed to providing an inclusive workplace that embraces diversity and inclusion for all employees.
