Shift Manager | Production Supervisor | Food Manufacturing | Geelong NORTHSIX is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business based in Geelong. This role leads the afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 4pm to midnight. This role is not the busiest shift on the floor, but it is arguably the most important one to get right. With 45 direct reports across operators, team leaders, and a Production Supervisor, this person needs to be sharp on planning, calm under pressure, and genuinely good with people. About the role Lead end-to-end production on the afternoon shift, owning safety, quality, output, and labour Manage and develop a team of 45, including direct oversight of Team Leaders and a Production Supervisor Run pre-shift meetings, deliver clean handovers, and keep communication tight across the floor Organise lines, manage rotations, and make real-time decisions when things do not go to plan Drive and support continuous improvement, process changes, and new product trials Maintain accurate documentation including shift reports, incident reports, and training records Work cross-functionally with QA, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and HR About you Minimum three years experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar production environment.
