Lumia Care is seeking a reliable and compassionate Domestic Assistance Support Worker to provide consistent, high-quality support to our NDIS participants based in Googong, NSW. This role has been created to improve continuity of care and stability for our participants by ensuring regular, dependable domestic support. The position primarily focuses on housekeeping and domestic assistance within a person-centred, NDIS-aligned framework. Position Details Role: Domestic Assistance Support Worker (NDIS) Location: Googong, NSW Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM Employment Type: Casual, opportunity for PPT offer Key Responsibilities Providing NDIS domestic assistance supports , including: General household cleaning and tidying Laundry and light household duties Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment Delivering supports in line with NDIS principles, focusing on dignity, choice, and respect Following individual participant support plans and organisational policies Building positive, professional relationships with participants Ensuring consistency, reliability, and quality in service delivery Accurately reporting and communicating with the wider support team as required Mandatory Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Current Working With Vulnerable People Card Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate National Police Check Right to work in Australia Reliable transport and willingness to travel Ability to commit to ongoing, consistent weekday hours Desirable Experience & Skills Previous experience in NDIS support work, domestic assistance, or housekeeping Understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred care Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Professional, respectful, and compassionate communication style Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term engagement Why Work with Lumia Care?
