Our client is a proud, family-owned WA company that specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of specialised mining equipment for the Australian mining and resources sector. They have a requirement for a career-driven sales professional to take the role of Sales Account Manager working from their Welshpool office. Reporting directly to the Commercial Operations Manager, the role will include: Increasing sales, revenue and market share Assisting with the development, implementation and management of sales strategies and sales plans Possess a desire to continuously improve on your strong technical knowledge of products & services, technologies, operation and processes Maintaining existing client relationships and drive customer service Identifying new opportunities, develop and close customer profiles and sales funnels Maintaining strong industry knowledge and market dynamics and provide ongoing market research to management as required Maintaining positive work relationships within the team Pro-actively developing skills, knowledge and experience to improve proficiency of role and contribution to team results (e.g. attendance at trade shows) Your success in the role will be measured on six key areas: Achieving sales targets and market share growth Regulatory compliance Administration accuracy and completion (reporting, sales funnel management etc.) your collaborative approach with other members of the sales teams Adherence to all workplace health and safety processes and protocols Professionalism To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring to this role: Minimum 3 years sales and marketing experience (including new business development) Demonstrated business acumen, commercial knowledge and excellent follow up skills Effective time management and organisational skills Excellent interpersonal skills Technical knowledge of mining equipment would be strong desired A current C class drivers' licence To apply, click on the apply now link or for a confidential discussion, please call Kristy Parker on 0407 711 509.
