Talentweb is looking to speak with water infrastructure engineers for a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Water / Wastewater Modeller / Planner to join its growing water team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across urban development, growth planning, and utility network upgrades throughout NSW. You will play a key role in wastewater network planning and hydraulic modelling, delivering technical solutions for developers, councils, and major water authorities including Sydney Water. The Role In this position, you will: Undertake wastewater network planning and hydraulic modelling using industry-standard software Prepare and review technical reports, modelling outputs, and authority submissions Deliver projects from concept and strategic planning through to approvals and implementation Liaise with Sydney Water, councils, developers, and other stakeholders Manage project delivery to ensure work is completed on time and to a high technical standard Mentor and support junior engineers within the team Contribute to client relationship management and repeat business opportunities About You To be successful, you will have: Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Approximately 10 years’ experience in the water and wastewater sector Strong experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling and planning Proficiency with MOUSE and other relevant modelling software Sound knowledge of WSAA codes and Sydney Water standards and specifications Experience working with Sydney Water and preparing authority submissions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities Benefits Work on high-profile infrastructure and urban development projects Flexible working arrangements Clear career progression opportunities Strong social culture and employee wellbeing initiatives Apply now or reach out to Luca Ferrari on 0475935415 for more information about the opportunity!
