Youth Kick Starter Program Education Support Worker - Full-time About the Role The Education Support Worker supports young people to re-engage with education, training, or employment pathways. Working closely with the Youth Murri Court Coordinator, this role provides supervision, transport, learning support, and structured activities in a culturally safe environment. Key Responsibilities Support young people to achieve educational and developmental goals Assist with transitioning youth back into mainstream schooling or employment Supervise and support young people in a safe environment Coordinate and deliver education-based and community activities Provide transport for program participants Collect and maintain accurate data and records Maintain confidentiality and comply with WHS requirements Essential Requirements Certificate or Diploma in Education Support (or similar) Experience working with young people Sound communication and organisational skills Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Current Driver’s Licence Current Blue Card Current Police Check Personal Attributes Friendly, respectful, and professional demeanour Ability to remain calm in challenging situations Flexible and adaptable approach High level of integrity and confidentiality Please Contact: Staff Services North West Queensland Indigenous Community Social Services Ltd (NWQICSS) 17 Stanley Street, Mount Isa.
