We are looking for a Parts Sales Assistant who will proactively approach every customer and deliver a first-class experience. As a Parts Sales Assistant your main responsibilities will include: Retail and Trade Customer Sales and Quoting via telephone and email Data Entry and Computer work Workshop organisation – booking jobs, preparing the workshop for the daily jobs & tasks. This will include having all parts ready. Freight and Stock Monitoring Customer and Vehicle drop off and pickups Automotive Parts Interpretation – Looking up parts by size or specifications, e.g. sizing up an alternator or starter motor by physical size and dimensions. (Previous experience is not essential, but be willing to learn) Possible social media responsibilities (for the right applicant) Support the Management team and the sales process ensuring effective responsibility and ownership of your tasks Take responsibility for visual presentation and cleanliness of yourself and the store Ensure accurate and appropriate advice to ensure that our customers buy the best and relevant products to meet their needs. E.g. designing accessories and auto electrical fit out for their vehicle. Cleaning and General Upkeep of the shop front Following procedures, implementing and developing procedures to make the day-to-day tasks simpler.
