Your Role at Partnership Builds: We currently have vacancies for female Disability Support Workers to work across Southern Adelaide location sites are Hallett Cove, Christies Beach and Happy Valley on a Casual basis . We have a range of shifts available across Morning, Afternoon & Evening Sleepovers - Monday to Sunday. We are looking for applicants who will commit to stable and consistent work with flexible availability, starting as early as 6am and as late as 11pm (including passive and occasional active overnight shifts). Our clients have a background of High Physical and Mental Health Supports. They require assistance with Behavioural Support, Personal Care, Medications, Manual Handling, In Home Care and Community Access and Day/Options. Experience with complex needs in Mental Health, Stoma Management and PEG Feeding are desirable. Tasks and Responsibilities include: Confidence in working in a 1:3 participant environment. Assisting with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and toileting. Assisting with mobility including transferring to and from wheelchairs, use of hoists and mechanical aids. High Intensity supports including Enteral Feeding, Complex Bowel Care, Severe Dysphasia and Seizure Management. Attend organisational training as required. Supporting participants with behaviours and following Behaviour Support Plans. Domestic duties including household cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and manual handling. Assisting with participation in social, recreational or community activities. Administering prescribed medications or assisting with medical devices. Monitoring health conditions and reporting concerns to healthcare professionals. Accompanying or transporting participants to appointments, events or errands. Keeping records of activities, progress and any incidents. Communicating effectively with family members, healthcare providers, or other team members involved in care. Ensure participants rights and preferences are acknowledged and respected. Requirements: To thrive at Partnership Builds, you'll need: 1 – 3 years of work experience in a similar field Knowledge in NDIS and Codes of Conduct Certificate 3 in Disability or Aged Care NDIS Worker Screening Check - (must be current or in progress) Working with Children Check - (must be current or in progress) NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate First Aid and CPR Certification Vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance and Full Driver’s Licence Adherence to all mandatory directives per your State or Territory Proficiency in computer skills/app usage i.e. Microsoft Outlook and Teams At Partnership Builds, we're devoted to providing the best possible care to our clients.
