We are currently seeking a Qualified Butcher to join our team on a casual basis , with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right candidate. Weekend availability is essential. This role involves working across our three Central Coast locations — Lisarow, Chittaway Bay and Wyong — so flexibility and reliable transport are required. Key Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service in a friendly and professional manner in a retail envionment Prepare and present meat products to a consistently high standard Break down whole lambs, pigs and beef bodies Making sausages, mince and smoked products etc Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash accurately Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety regulations Complete daily opening and closing procedures Assist with deliveries (manual driver's licence preferred but not essential) Work weekends as part of the roster About You Genuine passion for butchery and quality food Experience in butchery, retail or food service (preferred) Minimum 1-2 years of butchery experience is required Well-presented with strong communication skills Reliable, punctual and a strong team player Positive attitude, flexible approach and strong work ethic Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Fully qualified preferred; partially qualified applicants encouraged to apply Certificate III in Meat Processing or equivalent butchery qualification is required as a minimum If you're passionate about your trade and committed to delivering top-quality service, we'd love to hear from you.
