As a Cleaning Team Leader at OCS Australia , you will support the day-to-day cleaning operations at one of our client sites. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high cleaning standards. You will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, maintaining service quality, and acting as the main point of contact between the client and management. Note: This role is required to work after hours, essentially Night shift 10pm to 3am. Key Responsibilities: Supervising, managing, coordinating and directing staff on site to keep daily operations up and running. Allocate tasks and ensure all cleaning duties are completed to contract standards. Conduct regular/Daily site inspections and quality checks. Ensure compliance with WHS policies, safe work procedures, and chemical handling requirements Provide buddy up hands on training to cleaners when required. Complete site reports, checklists, and timesheets accurately. Stock take and order consumables on weekly or as required. Receive delivery and distribute the consumables and cleaning stock to all the cleaner rooms. Address staff attendance, performance issues, and cover shortages when required. Ensure all new staff are enrolled onto appropriate client training platforms and inductions and training courses are completed Build strong relationships with clients by delivering excellent customer service and fostering multi-level engagement. About you Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience within the Facilities Services sector to include knowledge of the latest industry developments and innovations. Qualifications in business, law, commerce or a related field will be a bonus. Experience with similar industry managing client. Strong leadership and communication skills Good understanding of WHS requirements and safe chemical use Certificate III OR IV in Asset Maintenance Able to work independently and manage a team effectively A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset — someone who takes initiative and enjoys improving processes.
