We provide a broad range of services including family support, settlement services, housing and tenancy support, financial counselling, emergency relief, and community development initiatives. Our Families Together Program delivers intensive Family Preservation services to families with children at risk of entering, or escalating within, the statutory child protection system. About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced Child and Family Therapeutic Clinician to join our team. Key duties will include: Delivering trauma-informed and culturally responsive therapeutic interventions to children and families Providing counselling, family therapy, and psychoeducation focused on trauma, attachment, and emotional regulation Conducting therapeutic and psychosocial assessments and developing clinical formulations Administering evidence-based assessment tools and outcome measures Embedding therapeutic strategies into family casework alongside Practitioners Participating in joint home visits, multidisciplinary meetings, and case reviews Collaborating with DCJ, schools, health services, and community agencies Monitoring child safety and contributing to safety planning and mandatory reporting processes Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, case notes, assessments, and outcome data Providing clinical consultation and support to multidisciplinary team members Participating in supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development This role is intended to be a fixed term contract for 12 months with potential for ongoing employment thereafter.
