At Peterborough Soldiers Memorial Hospital, we’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Consultant to lead clinical nursing services in our Aged Care sector. If you're a Registered Nurse with a passion for quality care and leadership, we want you on our team! As a Nurse Consultant, you’ll deliver expert clinical care, lead nursing teams, and contribute to the development of innovative care programs. With a high degree of autonomy, you’ll work across multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and implement evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities: Lead clinical care and ensure quality standards are met. Provide expert advice, mentorship, and leadership to nursing staff. Manage complex cases and implement therapeutic interventions. Develop and evaluate nursing practices to improve patient outcomes. Foster professional development through education and training. Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with health service standards. What We’re Looking For: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with minimum 3 years post-registration experience Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Experience in team management and fostering a positive workplace culture. Knowledge of Australian National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
