Conditions: This is an outreach clinic associated with the larger Broken Hill clinic where you will work alongside a Nurse Manager, 3 Registered Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and a Receptionist. Hours of work are Monday – Friday 08:30am – 17:00pm with an average of 25 patients being seen per day across 15 minute standard consults and longer for Chronic Disease patients. It is a fully bulk-billed clinic with Medical Director software in use. Along with the guaranteed rate of $1800 per day, travel, car and accommodation is provided and accommodation can be arranged in Broken Hill across the weekends if preferred. A NSW WWCC is required, along with completion of their skills check list. Visiting Broken Hill and Wilcannia offers a rich and authentic outback experience in far-west NSW. Broken Hill is renowned for its mining heritage, thriving arts scene, and striking desert landscapes, while Wilcannia, set along the Darling River, provides a deeper connection to Indigenous culture and history.
