We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Spray Painter to join our team at our Carole Park facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced painter looking for stable, long-term employment with a respected engineering company.
About the Role
As an Industrial Spray Painter / Sand Blaster, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing high-quality industrial spray painting
- Completing surface preparation and sandblasting as required
- Applying 3-coat paint systems (primer, intermediate & top coat)
- Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and schedule requirements
- Conducting basic QA inspections and maintaining accurate documentation
- Maintaining clean, organised, and safe work areas
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience in industrial spray painting
- Competency with 3-coat painting systems
- Ability to assess and check blast profiles
- Knowledge of monitoring environmental conditions including humidity and temperature
- Understanding of QA processes, visual inspections, and documentation
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
