The site operates a complex multi circuit plant and runs at a high intensity, performance driven standard. With approved capital spend and a clear pipeline of improvement initiatives, the operation is investing in technical capability to drive plant efficiency, recovery and long term performance. The Opportunity This is a Senior Metallurgist role combining operational plant performance with project based improvement work. You will be responsible for driving day to day metallurgical outcomes while also leading key improvement initiatives across the plant. The role sits close to the operation and requires a hands on approach across both production and technical delivery. You will work across crushing, grinding and downstream circuits, supporting recovery, throughput and reagent optimisation, while also leading projects related to control systems, instrumentation and circuit efficiency. This role suits someone who can step beyond monitoring performance and instead identify problems, implement solutions and drive measurable outcomes across the plant. Key Responsibilities Drive plant performance across crushing and processing circuits Lead metallurgical accounting, reporting and reconciliation Optimise recovery, throughput and reagent usage Deliver control system upgrades and plant improvement projects Work closely with instrumentation and maintenance teams Identify bottlenecks and implement improvement initiatives Support test work across reagents, flocculants and circuit performance About You Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering Strong processing plant experience across gold or transferable commodities Ability to operate both operationally and technically Experience in plant optimisation and continuous improvement Strong problem-solving capability and ownership mindset Comfortable working in a high intensity site environment What’s On Offer 8/6 roster Exposure to both operations and project work Strong technical team and leadership support Opportunity to drive real plant improvement outcomes FIFO or residential options considered How to Apply Apply via the link with a current resume.
