You will be operating a high reach forklift within a double-deep racking system, safely handling pallet movements and ensuring stock is stored and retrieved accurately and efficiently. Details: Location: Golden Cockerel Frozen Warehouse, Room 8, 470 Lytton Road, Morningside Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm Employment: Casual / Long-term opportunity The Accountabilities: Safely operate a high reach forklift in a double-deep racking warehouse Load, unload, move, and store pallets accurately and efficiently Support stock rotation processes (FIFO / date-based rotation) Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and housekeeping Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet daily targets Follow all work health and safety and company procedures The Ingredients for Success: Just like a well-run warehouse needs precision and control, we’re looking for the right mix of skills and attitude: Minimum of 2 years previous high reach forklift experience required Valid forklift licence (LF) Experience in double-deep racking (highly regarded) Strong focus on safety and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented approach Willingness to learn and develop within the role Basic understanding of stock rotation processes advantageous Culture and Environment: At Golden Cockerel, we value safety, reliability, and teamwork.
